Brea Nicole Hammonds

Brea Nicole Hammonds is an actor, writer, and producer. After a diverse cultural and economic upbringing in Oakland, CA she now resides in Los Angeles. Stemming from a family with strong ancestral roots in activism, much of Brea's work brings a voice to the voiceless and illustrates the humanity in those who are often marginalized in society.

Taj Karee Shorter

Taj Karee Shorter is a writer and content creator who was raised in Moreno Valley, CA. Growing up in a low-income, single-parent home, she often felt marginalized by her peers. Since she was a young girl, her outlet has always been writing and creativity. She now uses her talents to help people create their best work and spread God’s word.

Brea had written the first draft of a devotional back in February 2021 and was in need of an editor to take her work to the next level. After many prayers asking God to lead her to an editor, she finally met Taj through a virtual bible study. Taj had also been looking for a way to use her writing talents for the Lord. This was ultimately an answered prayer for each of them. The dynamic duo clicked instantly and became co-authors. Together, they take biblical stories and apply them to their real-life experiences to illustrate how God’s word can be used in today’s world.
